Klaus van den Berg is a theatre professional, researcher, and advocate for art-centered and holistic urban development. He founded CITYperformance in 2016 to promote a performative approach to urban design that fosters the creation of innovative, experiential, and beautiful places in order to revitalize the place of the arts and culture in the contemporary urban environment. As writer, advocate, and development consultant, he focuses on how urban design, architecture, and public spaces reflect history and express the values of contemporary communities. He has resided in Avondale Estates since 2016.
